User Experience Graduate

Location: Cambridge, UK
Salary: £28k package (£26k salary + £2k signing bonus)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexible hours
Start: Flexible

Working closely with developers, testers, authors and usability specialists you will be responsible for the creation of software application designs from the initial user requirements gathering stage through to the design, testing and final release.

Taking scenarios, personas, task analysis results and other inputs, you will be able to create compelling user experiences mocked up to varying degrees of fidelity. For example, using Visio to create a low fidelity design of a new concept, or using Photoshop to create visually polished high fidelity designs of the final product. Involvement in the testing of designs will also be required.

This is a role that requires an ability to deliver creative solutions to potentially difficult problems in a technically challenging area of software development.

We do not operate long graduate induction schemes – after your initial training you will be applying your design talent in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Your skills and experience should include:

We are looking for a degree in interaction-design, HCI or related courses. You will have excellent computer skills and have a good knowledge of design software such as Visio and Photoshop.
